Brian Diaz hates people. I do too.

Today we were discussing over IM, the new trend of people who never watched LOST acting as if they are proud of it - in order to gain attention. His comment below sums up my feelings exactly towards these hipster posers.

“It’s like, oh good for you, you missed out on one of the biggest collective pop culture events of the very early 21st century and you’re making fun of ME for taking part of it. These are the same people who in 1969 would have been like, “moon landing is fake… im gonna go read a book or listen to Jefferson Airplane” or whatever hippies did in 1969.”

In that case, I was anti-LOST before it was cool to be anti-LOST. Suck it!

(For the record, I have actually seen 4 whole episodes of LOST, one of them being a ‘recap’ episode which I enjoyed a lot more than the other episodes I had seen because it actually made a little sense. I chose not to watch LOST because I can’t deal with the kind of anxiety it gave me and I don’t have the time to invest in 6 seasons of confusion. Also, I prefer the sci-fi nerdiness of Fringe, which is still on TV so everyone should watch it.)

I’m with you aileen. I dont get why those boys are so butt hurt about “anti lost hipsters”

I’ve never watched lost. i dont hate it, I just dont care. i know nothing about it except that people are obsessed with it.

I guess I just don’t know what it’s like to be obsessed with a tv show. I’ve never freaked out about missing episodes or worried about spoilers.

I love Fringe, but I’m still like 5 episodes behind… and I’m not rushing to watch those episodes anytime soon.
